Our organization provides essential support to Ukrainian Humanitarian parolees through the Ukraine Supplemental Appropriation to Resettlement Agencies (USARA) Program. Through USARA, we help individuals and families achieve stability, economic independence, and successful integration into the community. We serve Ukrainian citizens paroled into the U.S., as well as non-Ukrainians who resided in Ukraine and were paroled into the U.S. between February 24, 2022 and September 30, 2024. With locations in Garden City and Syosset we train over 2,000 children each week at every swim level from Beginner to Olympian. A Wantagh man was arrested for attempting to pull over a man by displaying a badge on Thursday evening, according to Nassau County Police.A 43-year-old man was driving south on Wantagh Avenue when a black Jeep pulled alongside and the front passenger, 52-year-old Peter Brasile, yelled at the man to "pull over" as he displayed a gold badge in a black wallet, police said.The two cars pulled over and the man called 911, according to police. Officers from the Seventh Precinct responded and the Brasile was placed under arrest, police said.Brasile is charged with first degree criminal impersonation, police said. He will be arraigned on Friday.
