Wantagh Man Killed in Wrong-Way Crash
The accident occurred in Wantagh Sunday morning, police say.

A Wantagh man was killed in a two-car crash in Wantagh Sunday morning, Nassau Police said.
According to police, 60-year-old Preston Stockman was driving a 1996 Toyota Camry east on Jerusalem Avenue, just west of Campbell Road, when his vehicle entered into the westbound lane and struck a Buick at about 8:50 a.m.
Stockman was transported to Nassau University Medical Center, where he pronounced dead at 9:36 a.m.

The driver of the Buick, a 57-year-old Levittown woman, was taken to a local hospital to be treated for minor injuries, police said.
Both vehicles involved are undergoing brake and safety inspections.
