Triboro Center's Director of Nursing Rosemarie Calcano and facility Administrator Shragi Goldberg welcomed the visit with open arms as Ms. Joyner is a big proponent of care for seniors and the disabled in the Bronx where she passed legislation that looks to improve housing conditions and opportunities through the Urban Development Action Area Project (UDAAP), a program that expedites the land review process for low-income housing.

Our nursing staff continues to work hard, pandemic or not, and it was really great that Ms. Joyner came on this very special day to honor them,” said Goldberg. “Additionally, the Assemblywoman has made great strides with seniors and the disabled in such a short time and to recognize that these folks continue to be a special part of the Bronx community, Ms. Joyner is very special.
