St. Frances Cabrini Shrine is the resting place of Mother Cabrini, patron saint of immigrants. The Shrine sits on land purchased by Mother Cabrini herself in 1899. It is a Catholic spiritual center and a site of pilgrimage for people from around the world, and is the saint's final resting place. The Shrine is also an active member of the community, offering concerts and events, with a particular focus on immigration. Cabrini Immigrant Services-NYC is adjacent to the Shrine and provides free or low-cost immigration-related legal and social services.
