
A wide range of Inwood community and civic organizations and their constituents will gather Sunday, October 18th, 10:00 a.m. at the entrance to Inwood Hill Park (Isham & Seaman Streets) for a neighborhood-wide trash clean-up that will take place throughout Inwood during the day starting at 10:00 a.m. The event is endorsed by the offices of NY Senator Robert Jackson, Assemblyman Manny De Los Santos, City Council Member Carmen De La Rosa, and candidate for Congress Darializa Avila Chevalier and assisted by the NYCDepartment of Sanitation, the Sanitation Foundation, and Trash Talk NYC. Participating organizations include Inwood Indivisible, DSA's Bronx/Uptown Community Solidarity Committee, Friends of Inwood Hill Park, Isham Park Alliance, Harlem NYC Trash Project, Altagracia Faith and Justice Works, Global Endurance Collective, YALD, Inwood Art Works, Holy Trinity Church, Girl Scout Troop 3025, Harlem River Community Rowing and Inwood Canoe Club, Inwood Run Club, Uptown Movement, among others.
Our Upper Manhattan elected offices will be in attendance in the beginning making opening remarks.
