Man Bites Cop, Speeds Down Inwood Sidewalk On ATV, Police Say
The man was driving an all-terrain vehicle down the sidewalk when he was stopped, police told Patch.

INWOOD, NY — The NYPD is searching for a man who is wanted for assaulting a police officer during a traffic stop in Inwood, police told Patch.
On Saturday, Aug. 12, an officer from the 34th NYPD Precinct stopped a man in front of 449 West 206th Street — located between 10th and Ninth avenues — for driving a quad all-terrain vehicle down the sidewalk, police told Patch. During the stop, the man on the ATV bit the 28-year-old police officer on the forearm and then proceeded to speed away down 10th Avenue, police said.
The officer was treated at the Allen Hospital in stable condition, police told Patch.
