Man Snags Booze, Jewelry And Cash From Inwood Restaurant Basement
Cops are looking for the man who broke into La Essencia Restaurant on Broadway last month.

INWOOD, NY — Cops are looking for a man who stole booze, cash and jewelry from the basement of an Inwood restaurant in the middle of the night.
The thief broke into La Essencia Restaurant on Broadway around 11:30 p.m. on Feb. 10 by prying open the door into the basement, police said.
Once inside, he snagged several bottles of liquor, jewelry and an undetermined amount of cash, police said.

Police described the man as being approximately 20 to 30 years old, standing 5'10" and weighing about 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray hoodie sweater and gray sweatpants.
Officers released video of the man taken from inside the restaurant's basement.
