INWOOD, NY — A massive "modern seafood" restaurant, named Seawalk, will open in Inwood on June 7. The 100-seat restaurant will be located on the corner of Dyckman Street and Payson Avenue, and feature nautical decor such as a 500-gallon aquarium and 15-foot canoe suspended from a wall, according to a press release.
Seawalk will debut its bar and dinner menus from executive chef Fernando Mayers when it opens in June and will roll out lunch and weekend brunch in July, according to a press release. The establishment also plans on accommodating outdoor dining this summer.
"We are thrilled to be part of Inwood’s growing restaurant scene with the opening of Seawalk," owner Gregorio Gonzales said in a statement.
