ICYMI: Toddler Joyriders Pulled Over By Police In Cute Traffic Stop
The twin toddlers were driving their toy car down St. Nicholas Avenue before the cute encounter with police.
WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY — Nobody is above the law — not even toddlers in a toy jeep. Two twins were pulled over this weekend for a traffic stop on the sidewalk of St. Nicholas Avenue in Washington Heights for a prank traffic stop.
"As everyone in NYC knows driving on the sidewalk is strictly prohibited, but these two little guys got off with a warning (plus a high five and two new friends)!" the NYPD wrote on its Facebook page.
The NYPD posted a video of the cute traffic stop to Facebook, in which an officer pretends to write the toddler a ticket. It seems as if the boys' parents were in on the gag. An older man can be heard saying "Oh no, license and registration," in the background of the video.
