Pop Up Gallery To Feature Works Of Inwood Photographers

Artwork by eight Inwood photographers will be from Oct. 5-29 at the Inwood Art Works pop up gallery.

INWOOD, NY — Inwood, say cheese. Works produced by eight neighborhood photographers will be on display at the Inwood Art Works pop up gallery during the month of October.

The exhibit, titled "Focus on Photography," will be held at 4857 Broadway between West 204th and Academy streets. The building is known throughout the neighborhood as "the stack" because it's a work of modular architecture — individual units were literally stacked atop each other to construct the building.

Neighborhood photographers Robert and Robbie Bailey, Bruce Katz, Stephen Mallon, Tom Okada, Luis Pons, Cristobal Vivar, and Bob Wagner will be featured during the exhibit, according to a press release.

"In a neighborhood bereft of art galleries, Inwood Art Works Gallery is a pop-up in a raw space that expands public access to professional visual arts in Northern Manhattan, and presents as diverse an array of art as the community it serves," Inwood Art Works said in a press release.
