Washington Heights CTown Offering Free Groceries Saturday

Families can get a reusable grocery bag with $25 worth of free items, while supplies last.

WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY — CTown Supermarket in Washington Heights will give out free groceries Saturday to cap off its two-week Comida Para La Comunidad (Food For The Community) initiative.

The grocery's parent company, Krasdale Foods, announced the giveaway will be at 10 a.m. CTown plans to give out 1,250 reusable bags with $25 worth of free items, according to a press release.

The Washington Heights CTown store is located at 1016 St. Nicholas Ave., New York, NY 10032.
