• Water Mill Woman Arrested for DWI After Crashing Car into Utility Pole with Minor Daughter Inside (longisland.com) — Police say a Water Mill woman was arrested after crashing her car into a utility pole at Flying Point Road and Seven Ponds Road in Water Mill with her under-16 daughter inside. Officers report she was charged under Leandra’s Law for felony DWI and with endangering the welfare of a child, and the girl was safely released to a family member.
