• American Red Cross warns of emergency blood shortage as supply drops 25% in June (cnycentral.com) — Waterville residents can help ease a serious Red Cross blood shortage by donating at Waterville Village Hall on July 18 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The organization says supplies, especially platelets and some blood types, have dropped sharply, and nearby communities across Central New York are also hosting drives this month.
