• Man shot multiple times on 1st Ave. outside Watervliet home (wnyt.com) — A Watervliet resident was shot multiple times while sitting in his car on 1st Avenue Tuesday morning, and police say the gunman is still at large. Investigators believe the attack was isolated and are reviewing neighborhood surveillance video, while the victim remains hospitalized in Albany. Neighbors helped officers access footage as detectives collected evidence at the scene for hours. 
• Three sent to hospital after box truck hits car in Thruway crash (cbs6albany.com) — A Watervliet man driving a box truck was involved in a serious crash on I-90 near Exit 24 in Albany, sending him, his passenger, and another driver to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. State Police say the box truck struck a Honda sedan, which became wedged underneath before both vehicles landed in a ditch. Eastbound and westbound passing lanes were closed for several hours.
