• Students discover conservation at Hamilton County Field Day (adirondackexplorer.org) — Wells families will be glad to know local fifth and sixth graders from Wells Central School joined other Hamilton County students for a hands-on Conservation Field Day focused on protecting the Adirondack environment. Kids explored topics like invasive plants, loons, watersheds, mushrooms, agriculture, and moose ecology, and will now turn what they learned into posters and essays about conserving the county’s natural resources.
