• NYSDOT says construction on Union Road bridge in West Seneca slated to begin on July 1 (wkbw.com) — Construction on the Union Road bridge in West Seneca is now set to officially start July 1, with completion still targeted by the end of the 2026 construction season. State transportation officials say the work, delayed by environmental rules protecting a threatened fish species, will rehabilitate the bridge’s substructure and are asking West Seneca drivers for continued patience during the long project.
