Burglar Hits 2 West Village Locations In A String Of Break-Ins
The burglar has broken into four buildings since July 1, according to police.

WEST VILLAGE, NY — A burglar is breaking into buildings throughout Manhattan, including two in the West Village, police said.
All four of the robber's burglary attempts have been successful.
The two West Village break-ins occurred respectively on July 15 and July 22, police said on Wednesday.

On July 15, the robber gained access to a building at 652 Hudson Street by slipping through a side door. Once inside, he removed multiple dresses from the racks of the location.
Police have not confirmed the name of the burglarized store, but the clothing shop Zimmermanns is located at the same location.

On July 22, the same robber forced open the front door of a building at 780 Greenwich Street —the individual subsequently removed three packages from the lobby mailroom.
In the other two successful burglaries, the robber stole $200 from an office building and removed multiple packages from a lobby mailroom in Midtown Manhattan.
The New York Police Department released photos of the burglar on Wednesday.
