Get Inside The Village's Most 'Remarkable' Homes In Spring Tour
This year's house tour fundraiser for Village preservationists promises "hidden gardens, unparalleled art and historic charm."
GREENWICH VILLAGE, MANHATTAN — A chance to peek inside some of the Village's most interesting or historic homes will return for its 22nd year in May, organizers announced this month.
The Greenwich Village Society for Historic Preservation has announced the details for this year's Spring House Tour Benefit, a self-guided tour that lets New Yorkers look inside some of the most "remarkable" houses the historic Village has to offer.
This year, the tour, scheduled for May, promises "hidden gardens, unparalleled art and historic charm," according to the society.

The annual event is a fundraiser for the preservation society's work to educate and advocate for the distinctive character and irreplaceable architecture of Greenwich Village, the East Village, and NoHo.
The tour offers two options for getting involved, including a corporate benefit sponsorship and an individual ticket or sponsorship option. A coveted spot on the tour goes for $175 for an individual ticket or up to several thousand dollars for corporate offerings including spreads in the tour program and a package deal on tickets.

Here are the details about this year's tour:
When: Sunday, May 3
Schedule: The tour will be held from 1 to 5:30 p.m. and the reception from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
What: The tour is self-guided and tour goers can explore at their own pace. It is a rain or shine event.
How: Corporate sponsorship information and individual ticket information can be found on the event's page on the GVSHP's website. Ticket pick-up information has not yet been announced.
