GREENWICH VILLAGE, NY — The Greenwich Village-Chelsea Chamber of Commerce is hosting a discussion Thursday about race in the field of business.

Specifically, the event is designed to provide Black, Indigenous, people of color, and other concerned professionals with a space to talk, and share their experiences about business-related race subjects.

"Racism and anti-blackness have been bound up since the dawn of America. Untangling this vexing and disempowering dynamic is vital to revitalizing businesses in a time of profound uncertainty and financial contraction," the Greenwich Village-Chelsea Chamber of Commerce wrote as a description for the event.
