Man Beaten To Death In West Village Attack: Police
The NYPD is still searching for a man who assaulted and killed a man on Christopher Street over the weekend.

WEST VILLAGE, NY — A man attacked and killed a 36-year-old male Saturday in the West Village, according to police.
The altercation took place around 4:20 a.m. on Saturday in front of the Hudson Bagel store on 82 Christopher Street, police said.
Upon the police's arrival on the scene, first responders found a 36-year-old male unconscious and unresponsive, lying on the pavement.

According to police, the unconscious man got rushed to Lenox Health Complex, where he was pronounced dead.
The 36-year-old victim of the street-fight attack was identified Sunday as Brooklyn resident Dashawn Bush.

Further investigation found that the attacker punched Bush, dropping him to the ground and proceeded to kick him on the concrete, a police spokesperson told AMNY.
There are no arrests, and the motive for the attack remains unclear.
