Package Thief Uses Crow Bar To Get Into Village Building: Cops
The man broke into a building near West 9th Street and Fifth Avenue around 2:30 a.m. and stole packages inside, police said.

GREENWICH VILLAGE, MANHATTAN — A man broke into a building near Washington Square Park in the middle of the night last week and stole packages that were inside, police said.
The man used a crow bar to force open the door of the residential building, found near West 9th Street and Fifth Avenue, just after 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 5, police said.
Once inside, he took packages from the vestibule of the building and then ran away on 9th Street. Police said the exact number of packages that he took is unknown.

Police caught video of the man from surveillance cameras at the building.
