"Donna is a tropical oasis transporting you somewhere special," a message on its website reads.
The eatery will be reopened in Manhattan as a worker-owned cooperative business in 2022 — meaning that it is owned by its employees — not by one person or organization.

The new space will fit around 50 customers and have a bigger kitchen than its former Williamsburg location, its owners told Eater NY.
The new West Village spot will be just a short walk from Washington Square Park, and will replace a shuttered Japanese ramen spot.
It will also be near well-known neighborhood spots Tacombi, Palma, and The Coppola Cafe.
