HUDSON RIVER PARK, MANHATTAN — City Winery's opening month at its new location on Pier 57 will include performances from names like Sinead O'Connor, Vanessa Carlton and the New Jersey staple the Asbury Jukes, the venue announced this week.

The popular music venue said Monday that it will officially kick off shows at its new 32,000-square-foot space in Hudson River Park in April, nearly a year since announcing it would move into the Pier 57 space after leaving its SoHo home.

The music and food festival venue and wine-maker will celebrate the opening of their new flagship location on West 15th Street with a dozen new headliners on its main stage and in the new loft space, the venue said.

“We are building the single greatest intimate live music room in New York City — ever," Founder Michael Dorf said in a release.

Among those headliners will be an opening weekend with Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes, a Sinead O'Connor show and a night featuring Vanessa Carlton and Jenny O.

These and other shows are scheduled in the weeks before the official grand opening celebration on April 20.

The new waterfront location includes two performance spaces, a 350-seat concert hall and 150-capacity loft space, City Winery said. Their new digs will include added balcony seating, a state-of-the-art sound system, and multiple exclusive private dining options.

“Simply put, this new venue gives us the opportunity to bring in some of the most recognized artists we’ve ever worked with,” said Shlomo Lipetz, vice president of programming. “We’re thrilled to provide this enhanced experience to fans and artists alike.”

Tickets for the new line-up will go on sale for VinoFile members, a new program the venue recently announced, on Feb. 3 and Feb. 7 for the public.
