Two Stabbed At West Village Bar By Drunk Patron: Report

Two men are in stable condition after a stabbing outside of a bar in the West Village on Sunday morning, the NYPD says.

Police said a customer stabbed the bartender in the hand, and the other man in the chest, the New York Post reports.

WEST VILLAGE, NY — Two men are in stable condition after a stabbing outside of a bar in the West Village on Sunday morning, the New York Police Department says.

The New York Post reports a drunk customer began arguing with a guard outside the bar. The bartender and another man went to help, and the customer allegedly pulled out a knife, police told the Post.

Police said a 35-year-old man was cut in the hand, and a 41-year-old man was stabbed in the arm and shoulder. Both were taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition, police told Patch.

The suspect was last seen heading east on West 14th Street, the Post reports.
