Video: Silver-Masked Thieves Steal $40K In Mackage Coats In SoHo
Six men, some wearing silver masks, were caught on camera smashing the pricey Mercer Street boutique's window and running out with 52 coats.

SOHO, MANHATTAN — A group of six burglars snagged $40,000 worth of coats from a luxury SoHo boutique after smashing in the store's glass front door, police said.
The thieves busted into the Mackage Clothing Boutique on Mercer Street just after 11 p.m. on Thursday by throwing what appears to be a giant rock through the glass front door, according to police and video.
All six of the burglars, some wearing silver masks and hoods, climb through the broken glass to get into the store, emerging moments later with huge handfuls of the expensive Mackage coats.

The group stole 52 coats in total, piling them into a grey BMW and black Lincoln Town Car before driving away, police said.
The 52 coats, which go for upwards of $1,000 each, were worth $40,000 total, police said.

The heist is at least the second big-time burglary at a luxury SoHo store this month.
The week before the Mackage burglary, another group of thieves broke into a Jimmy Choo on Greene Street and stole $36,000 in wallets and purses.
For the Mackage heist, police caught photos of some of the suspects in the surveillance video. They also released photos of the getaway cars.
The first suspect has an athletic build and he was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark colored sweatpants and sneakers, police said.
The second suspect has short dark hair with a thin build and was last seen wearing a black fur hooded winter jacket, blue jeans and brown boots.
The third also has short dark hair with a thin build and was last seen wearing a grey and black hooded jacket, dark colored sweat pants, black sneakers and a silver skull mask.
The fourth suspect has a thin build and was last seen wearing a black knit hat, camouflage hooded winter jacket, light colored pants and multi-colored sneakers.
The fifth suspect has a large build and was last seen wearing black pants, a black hooded sweatshirt, a blue and yellow winter jacket and white sneakers.
And finally, the sixth suspect was last seen wearing light blue jeans, sneakers, a black hooded winter jacket, police said.
