New Yorkers took to Washington Square Park to celebrate President-elect Joe Biden's victory in the 2020 general election.
WASHINGTON SQUARE PARK, NY — New York City became one big outdoor party Saturday as countless New Yorkers headed to the streets to celebrate President-elect Joe Biden's victory over President Donald Trump.
While crowds gathered in spots all over Manhattan, there was maybe no larger meeting point for festivities than Washington Square Park.
People brought signs, megaphones and their dancing feet to celebrate the news.
