Woman Tases And Robs Uber Driver In The West Village: Police
The not-so-friendly passenger tased the driver when they arrived at her West Village destination, police said.

WEST VILLAGE, NY — An Uber driver looking to complete what he thought was another normal trip was tasered by his passenger and robbed, police said over the weekend.
The 55-year-old man picked up a woman in East Harlem who asked to be dropped off at West 9th Street and Sixth Avenue in the West Village on Nov. 13 about 1:30 a.m., police said.
When the pair arrived at the Lower Manhattan location, the woman pulled out a taser and deployed it multiple times against the driver's right shoulder, police said.

The not-so-friendly passenger then snatched the driver's wallet for the car's center console and ran out of the Uber down West 9th Street, police said.
The wallet contained $375 in cash, credit cards, and an ID, police said. The credit card was used later at a McDonald's in Midtown, police said.

The driver refused medical attention at the scene, police said.
Police described the woman as 25-years-old, 5 feet 5 inches tall, and 125 pounds.
