World's First Vegan Burger Bar Comes to West Village
Check out The Squeeze at 108 MacDougal St.
WEST VILLAGE, NY — The world's first-ever vegan burger bar recently opened in the West Village. The Squeeze is the fourth restaurant juice-maven Karliin Brooks has opened in New York City, but it's the first restaurant to serve vegan patties.
New Yorkers can experience the array of vegan patties at The Squeeze at 108 MacDougal St. The restaurant retains the namesake of The Squeeze, Brooks' wellness and lifestyle company that specializes in pressed juice and raw foods. Residents may recognize The Squeeze's products from Brooks' three other locations and her bio-diesel, gourmet food truck.

"The Squeeze was built from an authentic passion and a connection to a greater purpose of wellness for all of who inhabit the planet. Raw foods and juicing remain an integral part of The Squeeze and the line extension into vegan fast food broadens the appeal to a wider army of palettes. Kids, dogs, carnivores, Trump supporters are all into it. This is grass fed. For real." – Karliin Brooks, Founder, The Squeeze
The Squeeze also serves bowls: You’re Welcome Liver is packed with kale salad with hazelnut pesto, roasted beets, marinated cucumber crunch, avocados, beefsteak tomatoes, and Brussels sprouts topped with “buttermilk” dressing; and Everything But The Bitchin’ Sink has quinoa, roasted beets, coconut bacon, crockpot chili, caramelized onion, cauliflower risotto, sweet potato fries and chipotle aioli.
Check out The Squeeze from 7:30 a.m. to midnight during the week and from 8:30 a.m. to midnight on weekends.
