Astrological Tidbit– Each time the Sun enters a Cardinal Sign, Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn we enter a new season. Aries, spring, Cancer, summer, Libra Fall, Capricorn Winter. Each of these seasons carry traditions and holiday with them. For Summer, Cancers season we have the longest day of the year the Sun seems to stand still in the sky above us. The word solstice means Sun stands still. It has been a tradition for hundreds of years to get married in June, a time of abundance and harmony with nature. This is also a time of year when honey is harvested, so it use to be a tradition to give a bride and groom honey laden treats the entire first month of their marriage. This is where the word honeymoon came from.
