Astrological Tidbit– Our current calendar system was introduce by Pope Gregory X111 as a solution to the Julian calendar introduced to Rome by Julius Caesar. The main reason for the switch from the Julian to Gregorian calendar was to unify the date Easter fell. It was very common to celebrate the New Year in March as the Spring Equinox or the Sun moving into Aries was the start of a New Year.
