Both Drivers Busted for DWI After Hampton Bays Accident: Police

HAMPTON BAYS, NY - Both men involved in an accident in Hampton Bays Saturday were charged with drunk driving, police said.

According to Southampton Town Police, the crash took place at 9:03 p.m. on Douglas Court in Hampton Bays.

Southampton Town Police arrested Christopher T. Lomonaco, 42, of Hampton Bays and Gary R. Henkin, 56, of Hampton Bays for DWI, a misdemeanor, police said.

The men were involved in a crash at the arrest location and subsequent investigation revealed both drivers were intoxicated at the time of the accident, police said.

Both men were arrested at the scene, transported to police headquarters for processing, and held for morning arraignment, police said.
