Drunk Driver Nabbed On Sunrise Highway: Cops
The arrest came after a traffic stop for failure to maintain lane, police say.
HAMPTON BAYS, NY — A Mastic drunk driver was cuffed in Hampton Bays Sunday, police said.
According to New York State Police, Edyl V. Bueso-Palma, 23, was arrested at 5 a.m. after being stopped for failure to maintain lane while heading west on Sunrise Highway. Upon further investigation, Bueso-Palma was found to be intoxicated with a BAC of .12%, police said.
Bueso-Palma was arrested, charged with driving while intoxicated and released on an appearance ticket, police said.
