During Inauguration Week, Youngest Residents Get A Lesson In Government
The children created a White House Mural at Westhampton Beach Elementary School.

WESTHAMPTON BEACH, NY — As the inauguration of newly elected President Donald Trump took place last week, Westhampton Beach first graders learned about government.
First graders at Westhampton Beach Elementary School spent time learning about the White House, according to the district.
"During the interdisciplinary lesson, the students constructed a White House mural outside their classroom, read nonfiction books and articles about the president’s residence, watched a virtual tour of the inside of the White House, and researched and wrote facts about the historic building," a release said.
