East Hampton Vacuum Mainstay Expands to Hampton Bays

HAMPTON BAYS, NY — After 25 years as a familiar face helping residents with all their vacuum needs in East Hampton, longtime Bonacker Martin O'Brien has expanded to Hampton Bays, opening a second location in May.

East End Vacuums, Etc., opened its second location at 166 E. Montauk Highway in Hampton Bays, and continues to focus on serving locals with "exceptional service and high-quality product offerings," O'Brien said.

The family-run business features central vacuum systems, vacuums, bags, accessories and eco-friendly cleaning products, such as e-cloths and lambswool dusters.

When asked why he decided to open a second store, O’Brien said, “I felt there was a need for expansion. Hampton Bays is a growing community and its my hope that new and current customers will find the location convenient and will experience our top notch service. I am excited to be a part of the community.”

His goal, O'Brien said, was not only to expand his successful business but to provide "more jobs for locals, cleaner homes and a more convenient location for existing customers as well as potential customers."

And no place was better for the new shop than Hampton Bays, further west from his original location, he said: "Hampton Bays was perfect because its a growing community with working families."
