The United Nations has declared 2012 International Year of the Bat so come learn about them at the refuge. A presentation for children will be given at 11 a.m., followed by a bat-inspired craft between 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. At 2, adults can learn more about bats during a PowerPoint presentation. Reservations are requested, even though it's a free event.
