Artist's Reception: Saturday, January 7th from 2:30 - 4:30 p.m. All are welcome.
Elizabeth Malunowicz works in the tradition of classical realism. Her education and training was at select private academies including the Long Island Academy of Fine Art and the Stevenson Academy.
Sharing her artistic insights, Elizabeth states that, “she paints to process her personal thoughts and experiences.” She believes a simple still life painting has subconscious power that can represent a range of ideas, emotions and contemplations. Her portraits and figurative work, as well as her landscapes are all a celebration of life. Her hope is to capture and convey: the depth of an ordinary moment, the clarity of our global unity and divinity in our humanity and nature.
Elizabeth's work has been widely exhibited throughout Long Island including Juried Shows at the East End Arts Council and the Islip Art Museum. Her work was recently at the Lyceum Gallery, at Suffolk County Community College in Riverhead. Her work has also been installed in the Ed and Phyllis Davis Wellness Institute at Southampton Hospital.
She resides and works in Eastport, New York.
