Hampton Bays resident James Moran, who was reported missing on Monday, was located on Wednesday at about 6:30 p.m., according to Southampton Town Police.
“The Detective Division of the Southampton Town Police would like to thank members of the public who provided information,” police said.

A missing person alert was issued by Southampton Town Police on Tuesday for Hampton Bays man with a history of alcohol abuse and depression.

James P. Moran, 53, who is described as 5-foot-8 and 185 pounds, was last seen on Monday at about 1:30 p.m.
He drives a grey Honda Ridgeline with the license plate GNE1259.
He has a history of alcohol abuse and is depressed and suicidal, police said.
Moran might be visiting area beaches on Long Island.
