Hampton Bays Middle School Students Participate in College Awareness Day

The students learned about college life at the annual day held earlier this month.

Hampton Bays seventh and eighth-graders learned more about college life through the middle school’s annual College Awareness Day earlier this month.

During the event, which was organized middle school Counselor Laurie O’Halloran, the students heard from 15 college students who either graduated from Hampton Bays High School or are the children of school staff.

The college students took the time to answer questions and also share insights and perspectives about attending college.

They also spoke about college schedules, factors that go into college selection and extra-curricular activities

Virginia University).
