Hampton Bays Middle Schoolers Honored For Outstanding Character
Congratulations to all the students honored!

HAMPTON BAYS, NY — Students with shining character are being honored at the Hampton Bays Middle School as part of its "Rising to the Challenge" initiative.
The program was kicked off as part of the middle school's character education program, and recognizes students who display outstanding character.
Every quarter, 24 students will be chosen based on teacher recommendation for recognition in a school ceremony. To be selected, the students must demonstrate consistent effort, take learning risks, seek and accept challenges, and apply learning strategies. They must also demonstrate optimism and resilience, have a positive attitude, inspire others, and serve as team players and role models, the district said.
