Intoxicated Man Kicks In Door At East End Business: Police

He's facing a felony charge, police say.

HAMPTON BAYS, NY – A New Jersey man was arrested Sunday after he kicked in the door of a Hampton Bays business while intoxicated, police said.

According to Southampton Town Police, the incident took place at 6:05 p.m. at Domino's on West Montauk Highway after a report came in about a man vandalizing the front door windows. Aleksander DiMaggio, 24, was arrested and charged with third-degree criminal mischief, a felony, police said.

A witness told police that DiMaggio, who was intoxicated, kicked the front door, causing damage.

DiMaggio was processed at Southampton Town Police headquarters and released on a field
appearance ticket with a future date to appear in Southampton Town Justice Court for arraignment, police said.
