Man Charged With Driving While Ability Impaired By Drugs: PD

HAMPTON BAYS, NY — A Hampton Bays man was arrested and charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs on Tuesday, police said.

According to Southampton Town Police, the incident took place at 10:54 p.m. when a call came in about a motorist, possibly intoxicated, entering the parking lot of McDonald's in Hampton Bays.

Anthony Bertucci, 30, was arrested and charged with misdemeanor DWAI by drugs, police said. He was processed at Southampton Town Police headquarters and held for morning arraignment, police said.
