This week brings us a lot of same old same old or the planets don’t change position a lot. This is a double edged sword as the good energy stays with us but so does the uncomfortable energy. Mercury and Neptune are the two slowest of the planets as both are getting ready to go retrograde, so all week they are what we call “stationary retrograde” or they appear to stop as they slow down in preparation for the next step the retrograde motion. Mercury turns retrograde at the end of this week the 7th of June to be exact. This retrograde can be somewhat intense as Mercury moves back into Gemini for the bulk of this time. Of course Mercury’s sign is Gemini so we can expect a huge amount of gossip, speculation, and of course miscommunications. Some of the key areas to watch are travel plans and technology.
The middle of the week is highlighted by a Venus Neptune sextile, this is a very romantic energy your feelings are strong when it comes to love, but you need to be cautious even the good aspects of Neptune can have us looking at others through the lens of rose colored glasses. This is also a very creative and artistic energy, so you may find yourself inspired by the beauty that surrounds you. I have always found that Venus Neptune energy brings about a clearer vision of color, I often relate this contact to being able to see color from other time space realities so don’t be surprised if your totally taken by a color that seems new to you.
On Wednesday the Sun and Pluto have an uncomfortable angle between them its one where we can feel threatened by any challenge to our authority or perceived rights. This can play itself out on the world stage as power grabs and bully like activity.

On Friday the 6th the Sun and Uranus are sextile each other great energy for the creative mind, we have brilliant insights, ideas fly, brainstorming is a great success. We may hear about some new technology breakthrough, or maybe a medical miracle because someone thought out of the box. This is also a great time to try alternative medical modalities as they have more power during this energy. We also have Venus and Mars at odds on Friday so all that romance mid week can lead to disagreements at the end of the week. Just don’t overreact and all will be fine.
