Police: Man Arrested on DWI, Drug Possession Charges in Hampton Bays
The incident occurred on Sunday.
A Southold man was arrested for driving while drunk and for drug possession in Hampton Bays on Sunday, according to State Police.
Alexander Passanant, 22, was arrested after he was stopped for traffic violations on westbound State Route 27, police said.
Investigation revealed Passanant to be drunk and to be in possession of marijuana, police said.

Passanant was released on an appearance ticket for the Town of Southampton Court returnable on August 24.
