Police: Woman Robs Hampton Bays Bank
The woman went into the bank on Friday afternoon and handed the teller a note demanding cash, police say.
Southampton Town Police detectives are investigating a bank robbery that occurred on Friday in Hampton Bays.
A woman entered the Chase Bank on 47 West Montauk Highway, approached a teller at 3:30 p.m. and presented a note demanding cash, according to police.
The teller complied and the woman fled on foot, police said.

The woman was described as between 30 and 40-years-old, about 5-feet tall with a stocky build, police said.
She was wearing a blue colored baseball hat, blue T-shirt and sunglasses, according to police.
