Lenny Bruno farms was first founded by Dominick Bruno, an "Italian immigrant who came to Manorville from Ozone Park, Queens," the Lenny Bruno Farms website states. His son Lenny represented the second generation — and Lenny's sons Dominic and Dana Bruno, the third. Today, Dominic's sons Dominick and Anthony make up the fourth dedicated generation, along with his daughter Danielle, known for her baked goods, and his beloved wife Teresa, who manages the farmstand.

On the farm's website, Dominic spoke of his love for a family farm with a rich and enduring legacy that lives on in his cherished family: "I am a third generation farmer and have been involved in the family farm in some capacity my entire life. I attended CW Post College and I am now retired from Northrop Grumman. My dad was Lenny Bruno for whom the stand was named. He was a dedicated, hard-working man, whose life was the farm. He and my mom, Mary were married for almost 70 years. Teresa, my wife, manages our farmstand. I am fortunate, too, in that I have my sons, Dom and Anthony, to help perpetuate the family farm."
