Southampton Police Log: Hampton Bays Man Starts Fight in CB's Bar and Grill

The following information was supplied by the Southampton Town Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation and does not indicate guilt.

Disorderly Conduct

A 56-year-old man from Hampton Bays was arrested Wednesday, August 24 at 10:35 p.m. at and Grill in Hampton Bays and charged with disorderly conduct, a violation. The man was involved in a fight at the establishment, where police said he was punching at and trying to hit patrons.

DWI

Nicole D’Orazio, 28, of Selden was arrested Saturday at 1:11 a.m. on Canoe Place Road in Hampton Bays and charged with DWI, a misdemeanor. D’Orazio was in a minor car accident when police discovered she was intoxicated, police said.

Audrey Arango, 32, of Hampton Bays was arrested last Thursday, August 25 at 2:02 a.m. at the corner of Montauk Highway East and Victoria Road in Hampton Bays and charged with DWI, a misdemeanor. Police said Arango was stopped for driving out of lane.

Aggravated DWI

Robinson Echeverri, 23, of Hampton Bays was arrested Monday at 1:21 a.m. on Montauk Highway West in Hampton Bays and charged with aggravated DWI, a misdemeanor. Police said they pulled Echeverri over for driving without headlights when they discovered he had an extremely high blood alcohol content.

Wellington Barrios, 34, of Southampton was arrested Friday at 1:26 a.m. at the corner of County Road 39 and Henry Road in Hampton Bays and charged with aggravated DWI, a misdemeanor. Police said Barrios was stopped for driving out of lane when they discovered he was intoxicated.

Paul Bergin, 57, of Smithtown was arrested Monday, August 22 at 9:02 a.m. on Lighthouse Road in Hampton Bays and was charged with aggravated DWI, a misdemeanor. Police said Bergin was stopped for driving out of lane when they discovered he was intoxicated.

Criminal Mischief

Roberto Dezubiria, 36, of Southampton was arrested Tuesday, August 23 at 6:30 p.m. at police headquarters in Hampton Bays and charged with third-degree criminal mischief, a felony. Police said Dezubiria admitted to damaging his ex-girlfriend’s car at the Omni Gym on County Road 39 in Southampton earlier in the day.

Joseph Hassler, 29, of Shirley was arrested by town police Thursday, August 25 in Mastic and charged with second-degree burglary, a felony, third-degree assault, two counts of fourth-degree criminal mischief and criminal obstruction of breath, all misdemeanors. Police said Hassler was arrested following a domestic incident in Speonk. He was held for arraignment and sent to Suffolk County Jail in Riverside on $30,000 bail. No further information was available.
