Neither rain or cold weather could stop the community from coming out to support Backpacks For Fellow Students 2nd Annual Spring Splash and KanJam Tournament. this past Saturday, April 26th. The event was Sponsored by HUGS. Over 150 people attended the event at Rogers Beach. All proceeds from the event will go to purchasing backpacks and school supplies for local elementary school children most in need. The goal of the Organization is to allow all students to start off the school year prepared to learn. Thank you to everyone who helped make this event such a huge success!
