Voter's Guide: Westhampton Beach School Budget, Board of Education Election
What you need to know for the budget vote on Tuesday.

WESTHAMPTON BEACH, NY - Westhampton Beach residents will vote on the school district’s $55, 047,141 proposed budget for the 2016-17 school year on Tuesday, May 17.
The total budget increase is 0.15 percent while the tax rate increase is 0.70 percent over the current year’s rate.
The estimated annual school tax increase on a property with an assessed value of $700,000 will be $31.15, less than $3 per month.

Voting will take place on May 19 from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Westhampton Beach High School, in the LGI room, located at 49 Lilac Road in Westhampton Beach.
In the Board of Education election, incumbent George R. Kast, Jr. is running unopposed for his seat, the only seat open in the election.
