Westhampton Beach Elementary School Students Celebrate Walk To School Day
On Wednesday at 8 a.m., students walked from Waldbaums on Sunset Avenue to Westhampton Beach Elementary School.

With backpacks on their backs and sneakers on their feet, Westhampton Beach Elementary School students set off at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 8 to walk from Waldbaums on Sunset Avenue to their school.
Students walked the quarter mile to school to celebrate the 17-year-old International Walk to School Day, which aims to promote healthier habits, a cleaner environment and safety. It also aims to reduce traffic.
