🌱 Westhampton-Hampton Bays Daily: Paralyzed Man's Hope + Tourney

The quickest way to get caught up on the most important things happening today in Westhampton-Hampton Bays.

(Patch Media)

Good morning, neighbors and friends! Our top story today spotlights Matt Raynor, a Hampton Bays man who was paralyzed in a diving accident in 2019. In the years since, he's overcome obstacles with an invincible spirit and inner grit that's inspired us all. But now he's facing a new hurdle, as his home is being sold and he's searching for a new place to live. He's asking for help — and in true hometown spirit, I have no doubt our community will come together to find him an answer.

Also in the news today, the town board voted to delay the closure of East Hampton Airport, news that resonates across the whole East End. We want to hear your thoughts on the issue. Email me at Lisa.Finn@patch.com so I can include your comments in a future article.

It's going to be warmer today but still rainy. Stay safe.

Until tomorrow. . .
